An interesting story should be able to find anyone. So, why don’t more brands have stories to tell? A story should be interesting, so brands need to be interesting too.

Darren started his career client side, with dreams of making his fortune during the dot boom, he worked for ISP and online publisher brands such as IOL, Esatclear, Oceanfree.net and BT Ireland. Following the dot bomb he moved agency side where he set up Brando with Bren (Brendan O’Flaherty, Creative Director of Brando). Over the last few years he has taken the time to perfect his Karaoke skills and X Factor potential while also working on some of the industry’s most successful digital and transmedia advertising campaigns.

Over the years he has created award winning, online advertising strategies for products as diverse as broadband and online dating and has managed strategic partnerships with Yahoo!, Google, Xbox and MSN.

He dreams of breeding race horses and winning X Factor. He is the son Sonny Knowles never had.
